About The Position
The position involves engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. The role focuses on resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. It includes modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, emphasizing interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits. Additionally, the position requires developing strong relationships with the most valuable customers. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, the role assists in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state, federal, and company policy. Responsibilities include reviewing and complying with the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct, entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing. The position also involves managing pharmacy inventory, maintaining relationships with the local medical community, and supporting the execution of the Pickup program.
