About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Scrub Tech to join our surgical team in Chesapeake, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments and supplies, and ensuring the proper functioning of surgical equipment. The Certified Scrub Tech will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment, as well as assisting with patient positioning and prepping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• Certification as a Certified Scrub Tech
• Prior experience working in a surgical setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons as needed
• Ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping
