About The Position

SUMMARY: The daily rate for a PA Certified School Nurse (RN) is $250 per day Location: Susquenita Elementary School Duration: Long term substitue from 12/2/25 - 1/31/26 Ability to remain per diem to sub in Susquenita School District PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing student health records, providing direct care for injuries, and illnesses. Performing mandated health screenings, and developing health plans for students with special needs. Health education for students and staff, administering medications as prescribed. Collaborating with parents, teachers, and community resources to ensure students' health needs are met for optimal learning. Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by Susquenita School District. Participate in all mandatory staff meetings.
Requirements
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI Clearance
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
- Valid PA License as a Registered Nurse / RN
- PA certification as a school nurse
- Professional Liability Insurance ($1-3 million coverage)
