Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Momentum Employer GroupSpokane, WA
$88,000 - $125,000Onsite

About The Position

Let's be honest-every company says safety matters. At ARC Electric in Spokane, WA, we actually mean it. We're looking for a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) who doesn't just check boxes-but sets the standard. Someone who can walk onto a job site, spot risk before it becomes a problem, and isn't afraid to speak up (and be heard). If you're the kind of person who notices everything, believes safety is everyone's job-but owns it anyway-and can coach a crew without sounding like a lecture... keep reading. This isn't a desk job pretending to be field work. You'll be out where it matters. You'll be the go-to person when it comes to safety-and the one people trust when things get serious.

Requirements

  • CSP certification (non-negotiable)
  • 5+ years of safety experience in construction or electrical environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and industry standards
  • Experience leading training, investigations, and coaching field teams
  • Ability to influence people (without needing a megaphone or a rulebook)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple job sites
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
  • Tech-savvy enough to manage reporting and safety systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points if you can make safety engaging instead of painful. That's a rare skill.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and elevate safety programs across all electrical construction projects
  • Conduct job site inspections, audits, and risk assessments (yes, real ones-not clipboard theater)
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and make sure they don't happen again
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety training people actually pay attention to
  • Partner with project managers and field teams to prevent problems-not react to them
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and state regulations
  • Track safety metrics and turn them into real improvements
  • Support pre-construction planning with job hazard analyses (JHAs)

Benefits

  • Retirement plan and generous incentive pay
  • Medical coverage
  • 7 paid holidays
  • 2 weeks flexible PTO
  • Supportive workplace with many long-tenured employees
