As a Certified Respiratory Therapist Technician, you will perform respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs, physician direction/orders, and within the limits of established RRMC respiratory care policies/procedures and respiratory care consults. You will promote optimal respiratory status of assigned patients through physical exam, chart review, and response to ordered therapies, and recommendations, when appropriate, to affect and achieve an optimal level of response to the intervention ordered. You will also perform airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required, communicate the patient care plan thoroughly and effectively with peers, physicians, and nursing staff, and demonstrate clinical competence with patient care.
