About The Position
A well-established acute care hospital in the Hudson area is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join its night shift team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering quality patient care and experience across a full range of respiratory services, including mechanical ventilation and emergency interventions.
Requirements
- Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate required; Bachelor preferred)
- Florida CRT license (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently during shifts
Responsibilities
- Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages
- Operate ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
