Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program (Certificate accepted if licensed prior to December 31, 2008)
NBRC Certification
Active Florida Respiratory Care License (renewed bi‑annually)
Current BLS Certification
Advanced Life Support Certification (as required by unit/site)
Competency in respiratory therapeutics and ventilator management
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
