About The Position

A well-established acute care hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join its night shift team. This role involves delivering a full range of respiratory services, including mechanical ventilation, emergency interventions, and individualized care planning . The ideal candidate is a skilled respiratory care professional with a strong focus on patient outcomes and collaboration.

Requirements

• Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current Florida CRT license.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
• Operate ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans.
• Document patient care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
