About The Position

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist CRT with HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital, you will be part of an organization devoted to giving back to the community. The position involves working full-time during nights with rotating weekends, and you will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators, maintaining department records, and administering respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Application and operation of acute care ventilators for mechanical ventilation.
• Self-directed work in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
• Maintain department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer.
• Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures.
