About The Position

Resident Assistant – Flexible Scheduling | Local Facilities Location: Elkhorn, WI Job Type: Per Diem, Contract, Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire, Block Scheduling Caring for others is personal. Your schedule should be too. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Required compliance training to work in long-term care and assisted living (can be provided by Interim)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support patients safely
• Good communication skills and a dependable, compassionate nature

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and patients with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake
• Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety
• Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition
• Work as part of a care team that may include RNs, LPNs, physicians, and other aides
• Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns
