About The Position

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Participant Job Summary: The Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) shall provide services within their scope of practice under the direction of the Outpatient Medical Director and Outpatient Program Director to provide CRNP services through the ACRP Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. The CRNP will also provide telehealth oversight in Bedford, Blair, Indiana, Somerset, and Westmoreland counties.

Requirements

The CRNP must possess an advanced practice degree from an accredited University.
The CRNP must possess a valid license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The CRNP must possess a psych certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) with a specialization in child and adolescent psychiatric care.
The CRNP must possess an active DEA number.
FBI, PA State, and Child Abuse Clearances
Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse range of audiences
A compassionate, caring, and patient nature.
Must have the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health diagnoses throughout their lifetime.
Prescribe and maintain treatment for clients including medication management, orders, and collaboration with outside specialists involved with the client's care.
Implement appropriate referrals.
Initiate, review, and interpret laboratory tests and other testing completed.
Contact and coordinate with crisis when needed.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the needs of the clients are met.
Accurate documentation of appointments and interactions with clients/families.
Educate clients/families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, and drug and alcohol treatment, if indicated.
Address phone calls regarding client requests, needs, concerns, or releases.
Participate in decisions regarding daily operations.
Participate in ongoing education required for licensure and certification.
Attend and participate in treatment team meetings.
CRNP will comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances regulations, rules, and guidelines.
CRNP shall comply with the Managed Care (MCO) and ACRP policies/procedures including, HIPPA, Patients' Rights and Responsibilities, Best Practices, and other policies established by ACRP.
