About The Position

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers anesthesia for surgical operations, deliveries, and invasive procedures in the operating rooms and other areas of the hospital. The CRNA selects, plans, and administers sedation and anesthesia in collaboration with the anesthesiologist.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Nursing.
Masters or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia.
Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process as it relates to Anesthesia.
Current Certification through National Board of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Certification (NBCRNA).
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
Current Louisiana Advanced Practice RN licensure.
