JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Minneapolis, MN • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: May 11, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hour shifts; start time 6:30am • On-Call Shift Schedule: Optional weeknight and Saturday beeper call • Call Type: Beeper COVERAGE DATES • Starting May 11, 2026 • Ongoing coverage • Minimum 2 consecutive weeks per month required for first 3 months • Minimum 36 hours per week • Initial contract 4 months with extension potential PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics (12+) • Patient Volume/Census: FTE level coverage • Case Mix: Specialized tertiary anesthesia cases FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: Tertiary Acute Care Hospital • Trauma Level: Level III • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped anesthesia department • Specialty Backup Available: Full surgical and specialty teams • Support Staff Available: Care Team Model 4:1, 24-hour Anesthesia Aide Department • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental staffing support PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: No • Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia care within care team model • Specialized tertiary anesthesia cases • No blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals required

Requirements

Active Minnesota RN and CRNA licenses
NBCRNA Certification
BLS, ACLS
Minimum 1 year CRNA experience
Epic charting experience required
Must reside 50+ miles from facility

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services within a supervised care team model
Support operating room anesthesia coverage for scheduled shifts
Collaborate with anesthesia aides and surgical teams for efficient room turnover
Participate in optional beeper call coverage if interested
Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and documentation standards
