JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Huntingdon, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: 03/02/2026 – Ongoing (6 Month Contract) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10) COVERAGE DATES • March 2, 2026 – Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Less than 20 cases per day • Case Mix: General, orthopedics, ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, and plastics FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 71 hospital beds • EMR System: Cerner • Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped anesthesia department • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologist on staff • Support Staff Available: Anesthesia team • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Less than 2 weeks for temporary privileges; 60–90 days for full privileges COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia cases • Orthopedic anesthesia cases • Ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, and plastics anesthesia cases JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA license • Board: NBCRNA Certified • Certifications: BLS, ACLS • Experience: Minimum 2 years or 1 year independent practice • Other Qualifications: Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, nerve blocks) preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical cases Monday through Thursday • Work collaboratively with the anesthesiologist and anesthesia team • Manage anesthesia care for adult surgical patients • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation • Maintain high-quality patient care in a low-volume surgical setting

Requirements

  • Active PA license
  • NBCRNA Certified
  • BLS, ACLS
  • Minimum 2 years or 1 year independent practice
  • General anesthesia cases
  • Orthopedic anesthesia cases
  • Ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, and plastics anesthesia cases

Nice To Haves

  • Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, nerve blocks) preferred
