Job Summary: Review with the responsible attending anesthesiologist the pre anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. Develop and carry out an anesthetic plan under the direction of the anesthesiologist. Provide continuous vigilant observation of patients, correcting abnormal patient responses and seeking consultation where appropriate. Complete an accurate and timely anesthetic records for EPIC. Ensure patient stability and safe transfer to the PACU or ICU. Manage emergency situations, including initiating and participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Take appropriate precautions to minimize risks of infection. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. The CRNA could be working in multiple locations to include: Adult and Pediatric OR at University Hospital, Cancer Center and several one day surgery centers affiliated with the hospital.
