About The Position

Carle Health is seeking additional CRNAs to join our team of over 60 CRNAs at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Join an autonomous and team-centered department of over 60 CRNAs that perform over 19,500 cases annually at an established research and teaching hospital. This is a Level I trauma center. We are hiring for four ten-hour shifts per week, with no in-house call. The SECOND call schedule will be 2-3 weekends per year, 1 holiday/year, and once every 3 weeks for weekdays. There are three subgroups of CRNAs that cover OB, Pediatric, and Heart cases. CRNAs perform all surgical services except for transplants and burns. They work very autonomously while still collaborating with anesthesiologists.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing Anesthesia.
• Current Illinois CRNA license.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia for surgical services except for transplants and burns.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists while maintaining autonomy.
• Participate in the SECOND call schedule as required.
