Department Anesthesiologists Job Summary The Department of Anesthesiology at Denver Health includes 20 attending physicians and 42 CRNAs who deliver high-quality perioperative care across one of the nation’s top safety-net systems. CRNAs will work in a collaborative environment evaluating patients pre-operatively, formulating the anesthetic plan, and administering the anesthesia autonomously. An anesthesiologist is available for consultation and help if needed. Provides anesthesia care for only obstetrical related cases to include caesarean sections, epidurals, dilation and curettage, tubal ligations which can be scheduled or emergency obstetrical procedures. Safely transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period. Full benefit package to include but not limited to, health care coverage, dental, vision, 32 days of paid time off, continuing education, short- and long-term disability, retirement match, PSLF, extremely flexible scheduling along with an OB night differential of $50/hour. Under minimal supervision, administers general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical and obstetrical procedures. Performs anesthesia-related procedures at the discretion of and under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. Evaluates patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulates and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly. Safely transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period.
