About The Position

TRIA is looking to hire a CRNA to join our surgery center team! Position Summary: This position is in a fast paced, dynamic, orthopedic same day surgery center that requires a team centered individual that is a self-starter, flexible, self-sufficient, adaptable, efficient and possesses good communication skills. Someone that will contribute to the larger good of the institution and the performance of the entire team in providing and continually developing the best possible care processes for our orthopedic patients. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist has the responsibility to administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician. The CRNA will provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital. The CRNA will demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and will participate in attaining those goals. Working location TRIA: Bloomington and Woodbury, Minnesota; as and where needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a School of Nursing and from a School of Anesthesia.
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or Board eligible if new hire.
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements.
  • This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

  • proficient IV skills
  • excellent staff and patient/family communication skills.
  • minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience (Ages 5 and up)
  • Master's degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred.
  • Participates in one's professional organization (desirable).
  • Computer keyboarding (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician.
  • Provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and will participate in attaining those goals.
