About The Position

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will join an experienced Surgical Services team at a non-profit community medical center in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role involves administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery, assisting with emergency responses, and providing psychological support to patients and their families. The CRNA will float between multiple hospitals and participate in a variety of surgical cases, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Experience in administering anesthesia in a surgical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a variety of surgical cases including Robotics, General Surgery, Ortho, Plastics, Urology, Vascular, OB, GYN, Pediatric, and Urology.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery under the orders of an Anesthesiologist.
• Administer drugs and anesthetic agents and carry out life support functions.
• Assist with emergency response as necessary.
• Prepare the surgical site using aseptic techniques.
• Deliver conscious sedation and psychological support to patients as needed.
• Provide emotional comfort and support to patients and family members.
• Float to multiple hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area and participate in various surgical cases.
