About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking a 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Anesthesia department as an Anesthesia Clinical Education Specialist. The Anesthesia Clinical Education Specialist is accountable for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of education related to orientation, mandatory/required education, continuing education and professional development within perioperative anesthesia services. The individual incorporates existing and new practice, quality, safety and regulatory standards into education that aligns with the organization/unit culture and goals. Flexible FTE - 0.4 FTE clinical/0.4 FTE educator up to 0.6 FTE clinical/0.4 FTE educator. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) oversees line operations of the anesthesia department and supervises support staff. Work independently as well as collaborate with Anesthesiologists and SRNAs. See a wide variety of cases. Enjoy flexible hours and scheduling. Fully Integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges. At least 2 years of previous experience as a CRNA is required.
