About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The CMA is responsible for providing high-quality, direct patient care and supporting healthcare providers through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role requires proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach for individuals. Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs Prepare patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete documentation Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and processing referrals Maintain medical supply inventory and perform equipment upkeep Prepare and disinfect examination and treatment rooms Provide patient education and transmit physician instructions Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care Perform other job-related duties as assigned Certified Medical Assistant

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • Strong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and administrative functions
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and patient service
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor and team-oriented mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting
  • Must be RELIABLE!

Responsibilities
