About The Position
The position involves a variety of essential duties and responsibilities aimed at providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring a respectful and dignified environment for staff, practitioners, visitors, and patients. The role includes interviewing patients to gather medical history, measuring vital signs, performing vision screenings, and recording information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). The individual will assist practitioners during examinations, administer medications and injections as per practitioners' orders, and maintain medical equipment in good working order. Additionally, the role requires collecting specimens for laboratory work, performing routine diagnostic tests, and participating in community health initiatives.
