The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) utilizes a combination of lived experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and NYS OASAS approved training and certification to engage, advocate for, reinforce treatment engagement and recovery goals, and support recovery processes. This role works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing face-to-face, telehealth, and community-based interventions with patients and their identified community support systems. The advocate is also responsible for providing timely and appropriate reports and documentation.
