CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CODER (Per Diem)

The Certified Professional Coder (Per Diem) at Oneida Health is responsible for coding all outpatient services within established benchmarks for the Medical Practice Network. This role involves accurate assignment of diagnosis and procedure codes, charge capture, and collaboration with revenue cycle departments to ensure accurate claim submissions. The coder must maintain coding credentials and possess a strong understanding of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards, while also playing a key role in denial management and documentation management.
