The Certified Physical Therapy Assistant will provide physical therapy treatment services for assigned inpatients and outpatients in a pediatric orthopedic, rehabilitation clinic, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in accordance with Massachusetts Code of Regulations APTA Standards of Practice. This position functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team and to act as a resource to staff and families regarding assigned areas of responsibility. It functions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist (PT) and overall supervision of the physical therapy manager, within a framework guidelines, workflows and policies and procedures. The physical therapy assistant (PTA) shall document in the patient record and notify the supervising PT of any change in the patient’s condition. This is a full time position. The pay range for this position is $28.93 hourly to $43.39 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
