About The Position
At NorthBay Health, the Certified Phlebotomy Technician, Outpatient, is responsible for collecting, receiving, processing, and distributing laboratory specimens. This role also facilitates information flow into and out of the lab by interacting with the public, utilizing designated computer systems, delivering reports, and answering phones. General CPT duties, including faxing and filing, are also performed. The technician functions as an integral part of a clerical, clinical, and customer service team, supporting overall laboratory services.
