About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician assists Pharmacists in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution and the record keeping functions in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to patients of all ages in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, hospital and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year experience as a pharmacy technician or certification preferred
• Applicants attending a pre-pharmacy or pharmacy school program without experience will be considered
• Certified Pharmacy Technician required after 1 year of employment
