Requirements
- Certified pharmacy technician
- Advanced computer skills
- Proficient in basic math to support accurate data entry
- To be considered for this position, you must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and certified with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy
- Must be 18 years or older
Nice To Haves
- Experience ordering product and controlling inventory
Responsibilities
- Verify and input prescription information, process prescription requests and dispense medication
- Build trusted relationships with customers by demonstrating patience, empathy and compassion
- Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for patients
- Maintaining appropriate inventory levels through proper ordering and rotating drugs and other supplies
- Properly handle products and equipment, and maintain accurate logs
