Hours of operation for this unit are 730am - 530pm Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. Per Diem employee must be able to fill in as needed during these times. Reporting to the Pharmacy Services Manager and under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacists, assists in the preparation and filling of medication orders, perform critical pharmacy calculations, compound non-sterile products using proper technique, utilize various software programs and technical equipment for the various functions listed above. Perform medication distribution to patient areas, restock and reorder necessary pharmacy inventory, and satisfactorily pass required departmental, hospital and government competency examinations.
