About The Position

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our growing organization. This role will partner closely with pharmacy leadership and staff to support operations on a federal healthcare contract in a fast-paced, production-based pharmacy environment. Shift Information (Important) We believe in transparency-this role currently includes extended shifts due to operational needs: 1st Shift (Current): 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 2nd Shift (Current): 3:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Note: Monday–Thursday shifts include built-in overtime (10-hour shifts), which is a key component of this role. Future Schedule Adjustment: Once staffing levels are stabilized, the schedule is expected to transition to: 1st Shift (Standard): 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 2nd Shift (Standard): 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required (PTCB or equivalent, if applicable by state/federal guidelines)
  • Minimum 6 months of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or production environment preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic math and calculation skills
  • Basic computer and typing proficiency
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently (per federal requirements)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Push/pull up to 150 lbs using carts or pallet jacks
  • Stand or sit for extended periods (8–10 hours)
  • Perform repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and lifting

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications while maintaining accurate patient records
  • Prepare, package, label, and distribute medication doses prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, including stocking, rotating, and checking expiration dates
  • Fill and stock medications in automated dispensing systems and storage locations
  • Operate pharmacy automation equipment including: Autofill devices Baker Cells Kalish Cells A-frames Repackaging equipment Electronic scales
  • Read computer screens, use scanning equipment, and select medications by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC)
  • Perform cleaning and first-level preventative maintenance on pharmacy equipment
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
  • Handle hazardous materials and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Process and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification in open product areas
  • Handle and support workflows involving controlled substances
  • Support TCA replenishment processes
  • Perform manual hand count operations with high accuracy
