About The Position

Purpose & Scope: Assists licensed pharmacists prepare prescription medications, provides customer service, and performs administrative duties within the outpatient pharmacy. Also responsible for answering telephones, stocking shelves, and operating cash register.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of outpatient/ retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
