Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Oncology Investigational Drug Services team! Position Highlights Provides support for oncology clinical trials. Responsible for inventory management, dispensing and compounding investigational medication preparations, meeting compliance requirements and other operational needs in IDS. Monday - Friday day shift hours. No weekends. No holidays. Previous IV experience is preferred. Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through either PTCB or NHA in order to be considered.   • Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
  • Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
  • Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists &/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with federal, state and local laws/regulations and hospital policies.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through either PTCB or NHA in order to be considered.

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
