About The Position
This full-time position at Grant Medical Center is for a dedicated medication reconciliation technician in the pre-operative space. It is tasked with collecting accurate medication histories for patients prior to a scheduled surgery. The technician will also assist perioperative pharmacists by identifying high alert medications. Successfully fulfills the criteria and experience profile for T2 Certified Pharmacy Technician, in addition to the responsibilities outlined in this job description. Demonstrates technical, communication, and leadership skills necessary to support team members in their area of specialty. Maintains a proficient area through process improvement and operational efficiency. Participates in reciprocal communication with departmental and health-system peers and leadership.
