Position Summary As a Pharmacy Technician L1, Dispensing you will be responsible for many aspects of the mail order prescription process. You may be assigned to work all areas of the dispensing pharmacy including product selection, packing and shipping. Pharmacy Technician, Dispensing team members are expected to perform any of the following functions: manual filling and packing, fill medications for automated machines, Quality Sampling of medications from automated machine, packing orders using automated packing machinery. You may be asked to support the shipping handler functions such as manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment. You must possess basic computer proficiency and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position requires standing throughout the entire shift. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction across all levels of staff. Success in this role also depends on demonstrating excellent attendance, a high degree of reliability, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. We're looking for applicants to be available for the shift listed below: Sunday: 2:00 PM – 12:25 AM Monday: 3:00 PM – 1:25 AM Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 1:25 AM Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 1:25 AM Starting Pay for this role is $18.60 (plus $1.25 per hour shift differential) with opportunities to advance in as soon as 6 months (based on your skill-level)!

Requirements

  • Verifiable high school diploma or GED required
  • Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (IDFPR)
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through PTCB or ExCPT through NHA required for all those licensed after 2008. Newly licensed Technicians have 2 years from license effective date to obtain their certification.
