Certified Pharmacy Technician, Inbound Phones - Remote, TN - Accredo Specialty Pharmacy
About The Position
Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is looking for Certified Pharmacy Technicians ONLY in TN. Candidates reside and be Nationally Certified and licensed in TN only! As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, residing in TN, you will Work from home, assisting patients in receiving life sustaining medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases. You’ll be empowered to engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process prescription orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. This role is very detail oriented, and you’ll spend the majority of your day working on our computer system entering data and talking inbound phone calls
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must reside in TN
- Valid Pharmacy Technician National Certified NHA or PTCB as well as TN state license/certification/registration as required by state laws.
- Tech Savvy- Strong computer / data entry
- High speed internet with wired ethernet connection.
- Private & quiet workspace
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service and phone experience, a plus
Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals via inbound calls.
- Receive inbound calls for new verbal prescriptions and clarifications on existing orders
- Reconcile patient charts with new demographics and health related information from your interactions.
- Ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into system.
- Investigate issues with pharmacist, doctors & other healthcare providers.
- Provide guidance to our patients about medication coverage.
- Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
