About The Position

The Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) at HealthPlus Pharmacy of Brighton is responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. This part-time role requires effective communication with patients and the ability to handle various pharmacy operations while adhering to regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Valid Pharmacy Technician License
• Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Customer Service experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Preparation of medications for patients
• Receiving and verifying prescriptions
• Pricing and filling prescriptions
• Effectively communicating with patients (in pharmacy and at home)
• Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescriptions
• Assisting with insurance claims processing
• Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
• Checking in pharmacy orders from wholesalers
• Maintaining procedures, policies, and regulations
• Maintaining front store inventory and ordering
