About The Position
Certified Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient Pharmacy Full-time, first shift, 8-hour shifts (dayshift hours vary) Will rotate holidays, weekends, On-Call and some evening shifts Job Description: Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.
Requirements
- Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
- Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
