About The Position

Assists the pharmacists by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical, inhalation and injectable use; prepares labels, prepares and records charge slips; performs other pharmacy related duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Completed an approved training program pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code or has complied with the reciprocity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code
• Is registered with the state board of pharmacy
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be motivated.
• Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.

Nice To Haves

• One-year related pharmacy experience preferred.
• Additional languages preferred.
