About The Position

This role is remote but requires residency in West Virginia and an active WV Pharmacy Technician Certificate/License. You will play a key role in processing and analyzing pharmacy claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, and supporting pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• 1-2 years of experience with First Data Bank (FDB) and/or National Drug Codes.
• Familiarity with claims processing systems and procedures.
• Residency in West Virginia and an active WV Pharmacy Technician Certificate/License.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze pharmacy claims to ensure compliance with established guidelines and accuracy of information.
• Support prior authorization processes, including communication with providers and pharmacies.
• Research and resolve claim discrepancies, including National Drug Codes (NDC) and First Data Bank (FDB) references.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support program goals and operational performance.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
