Requirements
- Certified Peer Support Specialist credential required.
- Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in community settings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Provide peer-based support to individuals with mental health or substance use challenges.
- Share your lived experience to inspire, encourage, and guide clients.
- Meet clients in the community, at home, or wherever support is needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement person-centered plans.
- Document interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies.
