About The Position
The Certified Peer Support Specialist/Wellness and Recovery Specialist position is a telephonic role that allows associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions. This role promotes productivity and work-life integration while ensuring essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. The Peer Support Specialist will engage, motivate, and inspire members to participate in their recovery, regain independence within the community, and promote optimal wellness. They will provide peer support services to clients with serious mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders through telephonic and field-based operations, acting as a role model and consumer advocate.
