About The Position
New Season Treatment Centers has been a leading national health service of treatment that specializes in safe, quality, best-in-class care for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) will provide direct peer-to-peer services to individuals who are facing substance abuse or co-occurring disorders. As an advocate for patients, the Certified Peer Specialist will be responsible for providing expertise and consultation to the multidisciplinary team to promote a culture in which individuals' treatment needs and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into treatment, rehabilitation, and self-help activities. The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will use their own experience of recovery to inspire hope and provide support to others who are facing similar situations.
