This role is critical for our growth and our mission! This role will take complete ownership over the delivery and facilitation of training for our new Certified Peer Recovery Specialists. Our Peers (known internally as firsthand Guides) are responsible for building relationships and empowering growth of the individuals we serve. This role will ensure that all of our new fGs complete a robust training program and have the support they need to start serving individuals. Reporting directly to the Director of Learning & Development, this role will be focused on delivering training, monitoring completion of tasks and online learning, and reporting progress to managers and leadership.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills & written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with online webinar and course creation tools (Articulate 360 is a plus)
  • A passion for leading inclusive and empowering training programs
  • Experience leading interactive webinars & workshops
  • A resourceful, action oriented mindset
  • 2-3 years experience as a trainer, facilitator or educator
  • Active Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (or equivalent) certification & work experience

Responsibilities

  • Support L&D Initiatives by leading training sessions for our growing team of Peer Specialists
  • Enroll learners in training sessions and online learning programs and monitoring completion
  • Giving direct feedback and coaching to learners moving through the program
  • Keeping training materials up to date and relevant and processes and procedures change
  • Support managers by monitoring training completion, and supporting the People Team in tracking ongoing certifications
  • Measure and monitor training effectiveness & work collaboratively with L&D to evolve programs
