About The Position

Join the exciting T1 Project as a Certified Payroll Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating all certified payroll to ensure compliance with labor laws. You will work closely with Project Management staff to resolve any issues and support labor compliance discrepancies in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field or 2 years of construction administrative experience required.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
• Self-starter with personal initiative and ownership.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Trucking industry experience.
• Knowledge of Davis Bacon and Labor Laws.
• JD Edwards system experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate all certified payroll to ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Work with Project Management staff to resolve any issues related to certified payroll.
• Evaluate and submit all Certified Payroll through the Company tracking tool.
• Support and resolve labor compliance discrepancies to avoid penalties.
• Correspond with subcontractors, vendors, project owners, and project management team regarding Certified Payroll inquiries.
• Review project contract specification documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
• Carry out additional clerical duties as directed by supervisor.
