About The Position

Certified Patient Care Technician Bring compassion, energy, and heart to every shift as a Patient Care Technician—a vital member of the care team who helps patients feel safe, supported, and respected. In this hands-on role, you’ll be right where it matters most: assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, responding quickly to patient needs, and keeping the care environment clean, organized, and calm. You’ll work side-by-side with licensed nurses, communicating clearly, spotting changes early, and making sure every detail is documented accurately. From delivering meals and helping with mobility to transporting patients and equipment, you’ll combine clinical skills with kindness and teamwork. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level -OR- Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT)
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals -OR- National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing -OR- National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Health Career Association

Nice To Haves

  • H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalancy
  • 6 or more months PCT experience in an acute care setting
  • 6 or more months of Phlebotomy experience
