As a Certified Patient Care Assistant on our patient-oriented team, you will work in our 21 bed Acute Care - PCU/Trauma/Ortho unit. You will utilize your knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data, plan and provide high quality, safe and efficient care for our patients. The patients cared for on these units have a variety of medical conditions that allow nurses to continually grown in their abilities. You will have the opportunity to drive their plan of care and maximize your nursing practice. Current schedules available: Part-time (2x12hr shifts), Night shift, 7pm-7:30am Full-time (3x12hr shifts), Day shift, 7am-7:30pm This position requires rotating weekend and holiday schedules, which are eligible for a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18% night shift differential. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
