Banner Boswell Medical Center (in Sun City) is seeking Certified Patient Care Assistants as CCO Resource Floats. As a team we cover the entire hospital. Bring your passion for acute care and oncology population to help us achieve our mission of making healthcare easier so life can be better for the patients on the 4th floor at Banner Boswell Medical Center. Our floor has 46 private beds serving our Sun City patient population including oncology patients. We also care for general telemetry monitored and medical patients. Our Certified Patient Care Assistants work collaboratively alongside our multidisciplinary team, and we are proud to operate in a high-reliable organization structure. For our unit the Patient Care Assistant will act as a resource float. Our patient care technicians have opportunities to represent Banner health’s values through hospital-wide and unit-specific process improvement committees and shared leadership and receive a tailored and robust onboarding with help from our 4th Floor Operational Support Specialist and facility educator. Full-Time Night Shift Available (FT 3-12 hour shift) Shift Hours can be from (Nights) 7:30pm -7am You can utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. There are no set days you can be scheduled each week You can know your shift a month in advance generally. Varied Shifts = could be working days nights, weekends Weekend Rotations are required in this role. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
