About The Position
HiTek Limb and Brace is seeking a Certified Orthotist and/or Prosthetist to join our team. As a leader in the orthotics and prosthetics industry, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality custom orthotic and prosthetic devices. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with expert practitioners and state-of-the-art equipment, including CAD/CAM technology, in a fully automated robotic facility that features the largest automated carving system in the world. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed patient assessments, which include gait analysis, range of motion evaluations, coordination and balance assessments, and motor skills analysis. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers, and referral sources, ensuring that all documentation is clear, concise, and timely. Time management and prioritization skills are essential to meet the demands of the role, as you will be expected to provide progressive, functional, and effective patient treatment. Located in Columbia, MO, our multiple-facility company is a regional leader in the orthotics and prosthetics industry. We have exclusive coverage of a Trauma 1 facility, providing you with the opportunity to work with the highest level of myoelectric patients. You will collaborate with an expert practitioner who has over 25 years of experience in myoelectric fitting, allowing you to enhance your skills and knowledge in this specialized area.
