About The Position

TheCertified Surgical Assistant (CSA), orthe Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)assiststhe surgeon in exposure, hemostasis,and many other technical functions during the surgical procedure. Initiatesappropriate intra-operative behaviors unique to first assisting. Applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative techniquesrelativeto operative procedures. Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
National certification (CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant
2 years OR experience highly preferred
