About The Position
Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (Ophthalmology Technician / LASIK Surgical Technician) to support a premier military refractive surgery clinic in San Antonio, Texas. This role provides hands-on experience supporting advanced LASIK and PRK procedures for active-duty military personnel.
Requirements
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or higher
- Ophthalmology clinic experience
- Experience assisting with refractive surgery procedures preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for refractive surgery procedures
- Assist surgeons during LASIK and PRK surgeries
- Conduct visual acuity testing
- Perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing
- Maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields
- Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment including:
- Corneal topography
- Pachymetry
- Tonometry
- Visual field testing
- Support clinical research documentation
